Raymond Eugene (Gene) Ward
77, passed away on April 27th, 2012 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born October 8th, 1934 in Phoenix to
E. Alson and Anne Ward. Gene is survived by his wife Bernice, son John (Anita), daughter Anne (Rick), granddaughters Kira Anne and Emma Anne, brother Dr. John A. Ward (Jeanette) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School and attended A.S.U. Gene served in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman attached to the Marines. He was an avid hunter and received the states Big Ten Award. He will be missed by many, including his beloved dog Bubba. Visitation will be at 2:30pm, with a Memorial Service at 3pm, Saturday, May 5th, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Vaya Con Dios.
