Kathleen Jane Harris Winemiller

Kathleen Jane, 65, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on August 20, 2018 in Scottsdale, AZ.

Kathleen was born on a United States Air Force base in England to William Ezra and Rose Mary Harris on December 5, 1952. The middle child of 7, Kathleen loved and lived for her family and her cats. She was an avid sports fan to her hometown Suns, Cardinals, and Diamondbacks and was her son’s #1 fan checking in several times per week for updates on his team and to talk sports. She was generous and caring, always willing to lend a hand to whomever, whenever and for whatever. She loved to write and dance.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest sister Mary. She is survived by three sisters; Susan Rawdin, Yvonne White, and Jennifer Crawford and two brothers Bill and Jeffrey Harris, her son Dylan Winemiller, and her cats Mr. Blue and Little Rascal, in addition to many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A private service will be held on September 1, 2018. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff, doctors, and nurses at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital for their care and support during her final days and to the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix for their professionalism and assistance during this difficult time.
