Eleanor Ruth Wirth passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016. She is survived by her brother Andy Ftacek, Sr. her 7 children Tim Wirth, Rowie Wirth, Annie Alvarez, Joanie Wirth, Joe Wirth, John Wirth, Chuck Wirth, Jr. Her 11 grandchildren Jason Wirth, Mary Yost, Nichole Lee, Justin Wirth, Sunshine Wirth, Alan Wirth, Steven Wirth, Brittney Wirth, Bethany Wirth, Gabriella Alvarez, Noah Alvarez. Her 7 great grandchildren Emma Wirth, Olivia Wirth, Remi Wirth, Audrey Yost, John Yost, Trenton Lee, Francis Barnes. Eleanor was born in Ottawa, Illinois in 1935, she graduated from Marquette High School and St. Francis Nursing Academy. She married and moved to Arizona in 1957 where she worked as an RN at Maryvale Hospital for 7 years and at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 18 years. She was a fun, loving mother, Grandma, great grandma and love to do crafts with all of her children. She was also a very spiritual woman who loved her Catholic faith. She was a long-standing member of St. Vincent De Paul parish. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
