Lynn Young

Lynn Young, 89, of Phoenix, AZ passed away October 5, 2023. Born on November 21, 1933 in Schenectady, NY, she spent her early years in NY and moved to AZ in 1954. She married Gerald “Mick” Young in 1961. The couple raised two children, ran a successful drywall business, built two custom homes, travelled extensively and danced on all 7 continents. Lynn especially enjoyed cruises, including several with her grandchildren. Lynn was a loving wife, mother & nana. She was also a gracious entertainer and often hosted dinner parties for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her spirited personality, her witty sayings and her generous heart. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Mick. Survivors include her son, G.Terrance “Terry” Young; daughter, Pamela Feise (Ron); grandchildren, Brittany Schwimmbeck (Kyle), Heath Young (Kinley), Tiffany Plote (Todd), Jordan Feise and Natasha Feise; and great grandson, Barry Plote. Per Lynn’s wishes, a private memorial service was held on October 14, 2023 at St. Francis Cemetery.
