Evaleah Loretta Zelnis-McGraw, age 92, passed away August 26, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She was born in Chicago, IL to Meta and Martin Kehoe on February 18, 1923. Her Catholic faith was very important to her, an active member of Sodality at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Phoenix as well as St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Payson. She had many friends, was an artist and world traveler and had interests including cooking, quilting, ballroom dancing, bridge and fishing to name a few. She always looked forward to her cabin in Payson, AZ and her many fishing outings throughout the summer months. She was a Barber for a number of years and involved with the POW’s and the Hospice of the Valley Huggers. But first and foremost she was a devoted loving wife and mother. Evaleah is preceded by her parents Meta and Martin Kehoe, Edmond A. Siek (husband) and Anthony R. Zelnis (husband). She is survived by her husband Verlyn “Mac” McGraw, sons Michael Siek and Douglas (Patricia) Siek, sister Doris Alderson, 3 grandsons, Jonathan (Brandy), Jordan and Jameson (Julia), and a newborn great grandchild, Liv Siek. The Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Reception to follow.
